The Role

Due to our clientsrequirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks on civil construction sites
  • Constructing formwork, boxing, beams, walls, stairs, and other structural elements for bridges and civil infrastructure projects
  • Working with concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes and actively participating in concrete pours and related tasks
  • Operating power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and care
  • Collaborating with engineers and site supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and in line with project requirements

 

Requirements:

 

  • A 3+ years of experience as a Carpenter, specialising in formwork and concrete structures
  • Proven experience working on bridges, roads, and large-scale civil projects
  • Strong knowledge of formwork, boxing, concrete, beams, nails, stairs, and high-quality finishes.
  • High attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and high quality of work
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of weather conditions
