Due to our clientsrequirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Installing, maintaining, and servicing a variety of HVAC and heat pump systems, including ducted units, VRF system, FCUs, split, and multi-split ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings.
  • Carrying out all associated pipework, electrical wiring, and system commissioning to ensure proper setup and functionality.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and routine servicing to keep systems running efficiently.
  • Conducting refrigerant charging, vacuuming, leak testing, and pressure checks in accordance with safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of +3 years’ experience in HVAC or heat pump installation in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Formal training or qualifications in HVAC
  • Current Limited Electrical License (EWRB) and/ or Refrigerant Handling certification preferred.
  • Confident using HVAC tools and equipment such as gauges, pumps, benders and multi-meters
  • EST (Electrical Service Technician) qualification is needed
  • Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
