Due to our clientsrequirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the installation of electrical systems, including fire alarm systems, following technical drawings and layout plans.
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on electrical and fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing faults in wiring, fire alarm panels, and other electrical components under supervision.
  • Supporting cable pulling, system terminations, and testing to verify circuit continuity and functionality.
  • Keeping accurate records of completed work, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during installation or service.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A 3+ years experienced Electrical Trade Assistant with relevant licenses e.g. EWRB Limited License (essential)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Own tools and reliable transportation preferred
