The Role

Due to our clientsrequirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Reading and interpreting plans to install overhead and underground hot/cold water piping systems, sanitary plumbing, and water supply lines

 

  • Measuring, cutting, fabricating, and installing PVC and copper pipes with leak-free connections, including copper brazing and pipe threading

 

  • Installing and maintaining fire protection systems, such as fire hydrants, hose reels, and sprinklers, in accordance with safety standards

 

  • Conducting system tests, detecting and repairing leaks, replacing damaged pipes, and assisting with upgrades and insulation of piping systems

 

  • Following all safety protocols and industry regulations, while working collaboratively with other trades to ensure timely project completion

 

Requirements:

 

  • A 3+ yearsexperience in pipe-fitting or plumbing in commercial and residential projects.
  • Ability to identify and fix leaks, replace pipes, and troubleshoot systems.
  • Current Site Safe certification.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and thread machines
  • EWP and Limited license preferred but not required.
